The Medicine of the Future:
Ms. Glenn believes that preventive care is the Best Health Insurance policy you can "buy".  Waiting for an insurance company to take care of your chronic illness once you are "broken" is passive healthcare and just doesn't work.  We teach our patients to be proactive participants in their own healthcare.

Our office will often "prescribe" supplements, herbs, and specific foods for health and healing.  We will also prescribe pharmaceutical medications when necessary.

Memberships & Philosophy of Care

The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM):
Ms. Glenn practices personalized medicine, using primary prevention and finding the underlying causes instead of just treating symptoms.  Functional Medicine is patient-centered health care that addresses the unique interactions among genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors influencing both health and complex, chronic disease.

Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM):
A  non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. which promotes a vegan diet, preventive medicine, the cessation of animal research, and encourages higher standards of ethics and effectiveness in research. It was founded in 1985 by physician Neal D. Barnard.

*An NP is an advance-practice registered nurse who is licensed to provide healthcare independently. NPs are held to the same legal and ethical standards of care as physicians, with the same high level of commitment to providing personalized, quality healthcare.
